Opportunity

The JBS Collection set out to create a long form video series that goes beyond showcasing vehicles, focusing instead on the stories, craftsmanship, and restoration process behind some of the most rare automobiles in the world.

The goal was to create content that could resonate with both automotive enthusiasts and broader audiences, while maintaining a consistent format across multiple episodes.

Challenge

Producing a series of this scale required navigating a number of logistical and creative challenges.

With multiple vehicles, locations, and production elements involved, scheduling required careful coordination across car rig operators, driving locations, and controlled environments such as turntable and cyc wall setups. All production also needed to align with The JBS Collection’s active tour schedule, requiring a high level of flexibility.

Location scouting played a critical role. Driving routes were carefully selected to avoid visual distractions such as power lines, traffic, and other inconsistencies that could take away from the cinematic quality of the series.

Additionally, many of the vehicles are rare or one-of-a-kind, requiring a thoughtful approach to ensure they were protected from road conditions, environmental factors, and camera rigging throughout production.

Approach

Blaske Studio partnered with Eyedart Creative Studio to provide production and post production services across the series.

Each episode was built around a repeatable structure, combining conversation driven storytelling, cinematic visuals, and detailed coverage of each vehicle.

Our goal was to capture content that reflects the craftsmanship, value, and historical significance of these multi million dollar classic cars, while maintaining a consistent cinematic standard across every episode.

Production

Blaske Studio supported the series through both production and post production, helping ensure a cohesive look and feel across all episodes.

Production included on set cinematography, lighting, and camera movement designed to elevate the visual quality of each story.

Post production focused on shaping narrative, refining pacing, and delivering a polished final product for web distribution.

Outcome

The Journey is an ongoing, multi season series designed to scale over time, with a total of 12 episodes planned across two seasons.

With over 75,000 views across currently released episodes, the series demonstrates the value of long form, story driven content as a sustainable content strategy rather than a one time campaign.

As additional episodes are released, the series continues to grow as both a storytelling platform and a long term content library

Key Takeaway

A consistent production and post production approach can transform individual stories into a scalable, long form content system.
